When people talk about healing, they often imagine big, powerful moments.
A breakthrough.
A sudden change.
A day when everything finally feels okay.
But real healing is often much quieter than that.
Sometimes healing looks like getting out of bed on a day when your anxiety feels heavy.
Sometimes it's choosing to take a deep breath instead of letting your thoughts spiral.
Sometimes healing is simply saying to yourself, "Today i will be gentle with myself."
Healing is not a straight line.
There are days when you feel strong and hopeful, and other days when old feelings return and it feels like you've taken a step backwards.
But those moments don't erase the progress you've made.
Healing is happening in the small choices you make every day:
. Choosing rest when your body needs it
. Speaking kindly to yourself
. Allowing yourself to feel instead of hiding your emotions.
Little by little, these moments add up.
And one day you may realize something important:
The things that once overwhelmed you no longer hold the same power.
That doesn't mean you will never struggle again.
It simply means you are growing stronger in ways that are not always visible.
If you are on a healing journey right now, please remember this:
You don't have to rush it.
You don't have to have everything figured out.
Healing takes time.
And that's okay.
Just keep going, one gentle step at a time.
